The players make it back to the round room without incident

Let's head south into the skeleton room (Room "21", I wonder if it's become dark again?), and then try the eastern door.

Franklin agrees with this plan, to the eastern door of the skeleton room.

You see a passage that leads 10 feet, and then in the 20' section, turn south. Peering around the corner, you see 30 more feet, and then it ends at a 20' wide passage that slants NE/SW like this /

Let's proceed to the slanted corridor and look in both directions. If we see nothing of interest in either direction, we can head NE. If we see a door or anything else, we can investigate that instead.

NE, the passage goes about 15 feet before ending with a door on the north wall, and a door on the east wall. South west, it goes about 30 feet then seems to open into a room. Sconces whines nervously

Franklin sighs nostalgically and says, "I miss poor Sconces. Remember how he used to whimper, to warn us of danger ahead?"

Franklin pauses for a moment and uses his keen halfling ears.

Did I kill off Sconces - can't remember?

Maloof also pauses beside Franklin to have a listen.

I don't like the idea of messing about with the doors to the NE if we have a large open chamber to the SW. If we don't hear anything, let's proceed SW.

EDIT: I did some searching, it appears Sconces died at the same time as Maloof. https://forum.immersiveink.com/viewtopi ... 346#p34346 (Or at least that was mushgnome's interpretation, which was never challenged).

(Franklin took 9hp from the cone of cold on a successful save, so I assumed Sconces was turned into a pupsicle.)
