Taking his time and tracing imaginary lines underneath the floor, Franklin has no issues traversing the tiles without breaking any. Nothing is heard behind the door

Wiglaff crosses over so that Franklin has some back up. They should probably open the door, see what's beyond, and get in there if it seems safe -- it wouldn't be a good idea to get the whole party out onto the breakable floor at once.

Franklin is not normally the door-opening type, but he will make an exception in this case since he is under the effect of Heroism.

Aldbane will walk over once the opposite door is open and we can move across one at a time.

The door opens onto a 10' long corridor, that leads to a sunken 30' square chamber with stairs going down on this side, the northmost part of the east wall, and then up on the further side, but in the middle.

Nobody has been keeping up the map, but if you had, the stairs on the further side connect with the southmost orange square below room 3

After his earlier thoughts about poisonous gas, Maloof is wary about what invisible dangers a sunken room might hold.

Franlin is feeling brave enough, he will approach the sunken room (but not descend the stairs) and cautiously sniff the air for unusual odors.
