Re: Delve the Thirteenth

Franklin says, "Hobbits hate spiders. And they never carry treasure. Let's go another way. I have an idea: Wasn't there some sort of wizard war happening on this level? Should we check in with Tim the Wizard? If I remember correctly, Tim was feuding with the wand-blasting toll-takers. He might give us a reward, for killing his enemy."

Re: Delve the Thirteenth

"Franklin, thanks for reminding us! But didn't that fellow Tim imply that the wand-users had a great deal of treasure? Perhaps we should scout out the area where we killed them & make sure we've secured any treasure before we go treat with Tim. Also, it's probably on the way -- Tim said those wizards were to the east, so there must be a way around besides going through Wraith Corridor."

Re: Delve the Thirteenth

"You got that right!" Maloof agrees. "The spiders are blocking our way to Tim, just for the start! I say we see if we can get there another way, past where Fred and Bob were."

OOC: To return to where we saw Tim (I think it was just to the east of the entrance stair, that is E of room 1) via known routes we'll have to defeat the spiders or go back up the shaft and come back down here the long way.

Franklin says. "Good point. You talked me into it: Let's explore past Fred and Bob. But please let's zap those spiders from a distance, with a wand, so nobody gets poisoned."

Re: Delve the Thirteenth

Head back to Fred and Bob room, leaving the spiders, or stop and zap spiders with a wand to kill them (or some other means)? I think teh consensus is to leave the spiders alone...

Re: Delve the Thirteenth

Maloof would rather not risk the spiders at the moment.

Re: Delve the Thirteenth

Yes, leave the spiders alone. Go north to ogre room, then east to F&B room.

Re: Delve the Thirteenth

Good plan! (Sorry, I was misreading the map.)

Re: Delve the Thirteenth

Fred and Bob's entry room is 30 feet N/S, centered on the door, and 60 feet long. There is a 20' wide corridor leading north in the middle of the north wall. On the east-most section of the south wall is a corridor leading out of the room. On the east-most section of the north wall is a door. Typical wizard workbench paraphernalia is here

Looking north, that corridor goes 30 feet, with a door in the middle of the west wall, and then it looks to open out into another large room.
