Obviously that is the plan!
(Just don't blame Franklin if you come back looking all Pet Sematary.)

But, if the efreet does not have that power, then Franklin hopes to at least ask for the efreet's help to bring his friends' bodies back to the surface for burial. (And their magic items, to pass to their next-of-kin.)

Re: Delve the Twelve

After the bodies thaw, all their items survived except some of the potions - Aldbane's Levitation potion, 1 of Maloof's six holy waters, and 2 of Wiglaff's holy waters - were shattered

Franklin releases the efreet, who informs him with his two services left, he can restore two of the dead

Re: Delve the Twelve

A momentous choice!

It breaks Franklin's heart, but Maloof acted unilaterally to escalate the situation, and therefore should bear the consequences. It would be unfair to punish someone else for Maloof's bad decision.

Therefore Franklin votes that we should ask the efreet to revive Aldbane and Wiglaff.

Franklin doesn't want to 'play god' and have this decision on his conscience alone. What are Grampus and Rhod's votes?

Re: Delve the Twelve

As his brain rapidly crystallizes, Wiglaff thinks back on his long Elf-life and wonders (rather icily) whether he took the right path, or if he would do things differently if given the chance...

Re: Delve the Twelve

The wizard could cast reincarnation (for a fee) on Maloof. kipper seems like the sort that might like a whimsical challenge - who wouldn't want to come back as a unicorn?

OOC: Fine by me

EDIT: You could even take the payment out of Maloof's loot, what does a unicorn need with gold anyway!

Well, a unicorn isn't guaranteed - you could be a werebear
