Wiglaff readies his bow just in case, though he doesn't expect to get a clear shot. He orders Ivar & Sigmund to guard the rear with Dori and Ori, and for Wodan to strike with his spear from the 2nd rank.

Franklin draws his sword for melee with the rats!

The three rats hurl themselves at the heroes, who have a line of steel, with Wodan and Franklin lurking in the second rank. They are not needed, as this trash is disposed of quickly by the front line.

Three goblins are dead, three rats are dead, and four more pairs are asleep. The final rider is galloping around the far corner, but might be able to be taken down with missile fire

Maloof steps forward and hurls a slingstone at the fleeing rider.

Wiglaff, Maloof, and Franklin all decide to take a chance shot, and all three succeed! The fleeing rider and steed are both brought down

Wiglaff rolls an 18, Franklin a 14, and Maloof a 16.
That is enough for three hits, so will take down both rat and rider

Maloof rushes forward and brains the fallen goblin and mount with his mace, to make sure they're both fully dead. He then loots the bodies.

We all loot all the bodies, though with some of us standing watch.
