Franklin gently tosses a sling stone into the intersection, to see if that triggers any more bolts.

Franklin's ingenious idea unfortunately (or fortunately) bears no fruit

Wiglaff holds the head of his axe out into the intersection. If nothing immediately shoots it, he sticks his head out and looks to see what's down to the left, then draws back quickly.

All is safe. The corridor leads 10' to a door
