Unfortunately, no. Its myriad heads seem to give it sharp senses

I'm inclined to have Aldbane try to shut the door, but I am also curious about how many heads this thing has before I decide. Does the room seem wide enough that we could all surround it?

8 or 9 heads, you think. The long, swaying, moving necks make it hard to count for sure

Yes, you could try to surround it, if you can dodge all those head attacks while doing so!

Aldbane yells "Hydra!" and shuts the door. "The creature guards a large pile of gold coins, but I think to rush in would be foolish. We should have a plan before going in."
Hopefully Aldbane can shut the door before the heads attack!
