Dramborleg means "Thudder-sharp", from daram ("beat, hew") or dram ("heavy stroke")

Grampus says, “ I do love a good axe but if it’s Elven Script then I think the elf should decide how it is to be used.”

Franklin starts loading his backpack with treasure, prioritizing the most valuable coins.

OOC: Does it look like there's enough here for him to level up?

Re: Delve the 9th

Wiglaff weighs his own battle-axe in his hands, and compares it to Dramborleg.

"If the party is wiling, I'll wield this magical axe for a time, until we can determine its properties & whether it would better suit someone else in the party. Long ago I was trained in fighting by one of your people, Grampus, and ever since I too have favoured the axe!"

The rest of the treasure is thousands and thousands of copper pieces, but within you find three remarkable pieces of Jewellery, gold pendants with alternating ruby and amethyst gems. These should be enough to level him, and a few other people, up

"Oooohhhh!"exclaims Franklin, his eyes wide. "We should take this back to the surface. Maybe there is enough here for me to buy a new suit of armor!"

Aldbane keeps watch while the others grab the loot.

Re: Delve the 9th

By all means, let's grab the loot (leaving the copper) & head back to the surface! The extra levels will be helpful. And let's get Dramborleg identified.

I think through the great hall, then up by the stairs is most direct route back.

Also: I'm off the web for the rest of the week, so I'll probably post next over the weekend. If you start another delve before then Wiglaff will attend!

OOC: Most direct route back to the surface sounds like a good plan to me.
