Re: Delve the 8th

Wiglaff, Rhod, Aldbane and Merias drop back into the pit. They think they are ready, but the door opens, and the skeletons are among them and swinging as they are just getting set. Wiglaff takes an ugly wound, but then he and Rhod dismember the skeletons permanently

What's in the room they came from?

Re: Delve the 8th

Yes, let's check out the skeletons' room. If the door is closed, we should know roughly where it is; search to figure out how to open it, or just break it down.

Once the skeleton room is explored, Wiglaff will seek healing from Aldbane's staff.

Re: Delve the 8th

The weight of a person is enough to keep the door open

Inside the simple room, you see a large pile of silver pieces, several thousand you estimate

Re: Delve the 8th

"Thanks, Aldbane!"

No other obvious exits from the room? Wiglaff will do a quick Elf Sweep around the walls to check for secret doors.

Otherwise, my vote: gather up the silver, if we have enough containers, & head back to the surface. We've gathered a few stashes of coins, plus the interesting teak figures. We should cash it all in, regroup, and then maybe come back & make use of the elevator!

Re: Delve the 8th

While you are gathering the treasure (I will let you get all 3000 silver coins), you find amidst the treasure, two platinum rings, twined round with a tiny golden snake carrying a pearl egg in its mouth - these look valuable!

Upstairs, where Grampus, Llewellyn and the flunkies are, they are interrupted by two griffin-headed humanoid figures , dressed in chain and clutching swords in their right talons. They chirp shrill bird chirp at you!

If Maloof can hear anything unusual coming from above, he will climb up the rope to lend assistance. If he cannot hear anything, he will continue loading coins.
