Makofan, if I make an Elf and decide the first adventure is as a Magic-user, the elf cannot use Fighter abilities (weapons) until the next adventure (delve) and I decide to start that adventure as a Fighter, correct?

Can we share gold between figures, or is gold exclusively for each individual character?

My intention was to be that gold was per character, BUT you can designate the other two characters as your heirs in case of death, disintegration, or incineration

Q: How are hit points handled when leveling?

A: I am kind of a softy. When you go up a level, I roll your new hit dice twice and give you the better total. However, if that total is below what you had previously, you are out of luck.

EXAMPLE: At level 2, your fighter rolled boxcars on his hp dice <2d6+1>=13 for hit points. At level 3, he rolls <3d6>=10 and <3d6>=9 as his two rolls. His level 3 hp would be 10 hp

What is the process for first level M-U spells? Just choose one or is it random?

Nevermind, I read it wrong. Looks like we start with all the 1st level spells.

You do indeed

You can buy spell books from the mage, but it will be cheaper if you can find spell books in the dungeon

A couple of questions:

How heavy are M-U/Clerical spellbooks going to be? (See also here).

How heavy are spell scrolls going to be?

How are you going to handle burning oil? Will multiple flasks of burning oil on the same target have any additional effect?

What will be the effect of Holy/Unholy water?
