[pc Halfling,Fighter]Tumbly[/pc] begins a slow, stealthy descent down the ramp. Upon hearing the warning, he draws his dagger preparing to throw it or stab the creature.

OOC If he can see the creature in the darkness he will throw the dagger, if not he runs to stab it.

a bit further back I had wanted Tumbly to scout ahead in the shadows. Its no biggie but if possible, Tumbly was going to investigate with Potts. OOC is it meta gaming what I'm doing or is it safe to assume halflings know they can be quiet among each other?

In my campaign, there are no elves so halflings became the fighter/mage class. Weird I know but my idea is that eventually halflings will evolve to become "Grays". I have even tinkered with paladins for humans being a fighter/cleric but eventually didn't like what I came up with.
