You open the door, which opens onto the hydra room (see #10 on your player map). It's nine heads swivel your way

So there is a door behind the barrels now, and a door in what he would think of as a north door. The south door no longer exists. Which door to open?

Franklin opens the barrels, but there is nothing in them. The only difference is now the door he came in has now disappeared, but there is a door behind the two barrels

For the others, the door is still open, but Franklin and Sconces have vanished
