Arian snatches up her spear and beats a retreat to the entrance to the path leading to the surface where she lingers, spear ready to cast.

"Perhaps this would be a good time to run away?"

Arian will take the opportunity of the lull in the fighting to tend her wounds. She also casts an eye around for any spare shields the hobgoblins may have dropped.

Faeraidel crouches low, arrow set on string. She is scanning the terrain around the horse for any sign of ambush or concealment, or anything else that strikes her as out of place.

Arian looks hurt (figuratively and literally) to find herself wounded. She sweeps back her cloak to reveal the ornately carved - is that wooden armour she's wearing, drags her odd sword, curved like a giant sickle from its sheath and engages the enemy, continuing to fall back as she does so. "...

If she has a clear target she lets fly her spear at the hobgoblins, then falls back as commanded.
