Re: (053) Moonshine

With the hoot of an ancient owl, Highbough leads the party into the wilderness. Mindful of his clumsy humanoid companions' sensory limitations, he chooses wide, grassy paths, well-lit by starlight, clear of roots, stones and other obstacles. He hears the armor-clad PCs blundering behind him, and fea...

Re: (053) Moonshine

Highbough breathes the night air and takes in the symphony of nature sounds. Surrounded by his friends and free of the cursed Abbey walls, he looks forward to a peaceful night in the forest. "Wen, the owl seems agitated. Try calming him with your pipes," he suggests. "Let's not wander...

Re: (052) Reckoning the Abbey

Highbough, like Desmond, is curious if the glamour has been lifted from the Abbey. (He was impressed by the power of the magical effect.) Re: (052) Reckoning the Abbey

Highbough calls softly to Wen in a soft Elfish whisper that sounds like gently-hooting owls: "Have the humanoids made up their mind yet? Are we going back to the forest?"

When the time cones, he will volunteer to invisibly scout a short distance ahead.

Re: (052) Reckoning the Abbey

Invisible Highbough softly runs his fingers along the shaft of his Ire Spear . He feels metallic ridges what might be writing; perhaps an ancient script that can only be read when the metal is heated red-hot? The decrepit Elf may be old [con 5], but an inner well of magic sustains him with adolesce...

Re: (052) Reckoning the Abbey

Highbough invisibly chuckles to himself as Olaf is overcome by the potent Dwarfish brew. He continues to stand guard at the door. Do his keen ears detect anything unusual? Are there any windows, keyholes, or cracks that he can catch a glimpse of what is going on outside?

Re: (052) Reckoning the Abbey

Highbough's (invisible) ears are nine inches long and lined with silken hairs. Nothing is surprising the party through *this* door, not on his watch!
