Maloof looks down to the coins on the floor near the door. Can the door be opened without disturbing them? If so, he will attempt to open the door. Before the party starts collecting the coins, Maloof will attempt to silently cross the coin-covered floor and listen at the north door.

Maloof stops in his tracks. He reaches down to pick one up, specifically to determine if it feels like a coin.

Maloof circles the room (clockwise) keeping close to the wall, until he reaches the other door. Here he pauses to listen and, if nothing else happens, open the door.

Maloof finds the room unremarkable, so he instead he crosses the hall and opens the other door.

Maloof quickly backs away to break contact with the invisible wall. He inspects it visually however, did it leave a smear or similar where he had touched it?

Maloof proceeds further down the corridor and looks both ways at the T-junction.

Maloof proceeds down the corridor, listening first at the east door, then at the west door (and looking further down the corridor).
