Re: (076) Off the Beaten Track

The little man's face is covered in blood, and he's weaving from foot to foot, apparently barely standing, but Wetzel , with a strange and almost joyful look on his face, raises his streaming dagger and squares off with the remaining opponents, backing up The Herald's words with the grim intent of ...

Re: (076) Off the Beaten Track

mushgnome: "If possible I'd amend Boggs' intentions to state that, if he observes others in the party fleeing or retreating, he will gladly join them. But he is not going to abandon EVERYONE highbough-style." Ditto this for Wetzel. :D After a (round?) or two of fighting "freestyle&qu...

Re: (076) Off the Beaten Track

Completely unused to fighting as part of a group (actually, unused to fighting at all), Wetzel screams inarticulately and throws his spear at Thick-Neck's thick neck. Next, he draws his dagger and goes for the south-most hobgoblin, leaping at the beast with abandon and trying to get in close as pos...

Re: (076) Off the Beaten Track

Though in the rear (now front) rank, and closest to the newcomers, Wetzel has no trouble looking innocuous, small, and out-of-his-depth -- this is the way he looks most of the time. He whirls about in surprise, clutching his spear in both hands. When he sees the Hobgoblins his dark eyes sparkle a b...

Is anyone else experiencing this too?
I'm also unable to view those three sheets.

The rest seem okay.

Re: (076) Off the Beaten Track

After spending several moments gazing out at the vista and down into the valley, Wetzel joins the deliberations of the companions, absently drawing patterns in the dirt beneath his feet with the butt of his spear. "I like the look of that valley. Food to be found, and water. Hmm." He hums...

Re: (076) Off the Beaten Track

Wetzel keeps spear to hand and his bow strung during the next march. He says very little, but follows the lead of Leudigar the Ranger.

There's an eagerness in his eyes as the party draws closer to its destination, and he keeps close to the column, not wandering off.

Re: (076) Off the Beaten Track

Wetzel eagerly spends an hour or three learning some dungeoncraft from Boggs -- his climbing experience has been all above the ground in the branches of green things, after all! After that, he spends the rest of the day hunting, hiding in a tree or brush along whatever track looks most promising, w...

Re: Out Of Character

I'm in agreement with the proposed wilderness marching order and watch schedule.

Apologies for my two days silence. I taught my first yoga class at a new studio yesterday! Now that that milestone is past, my goal is to check in here daily. :D

Re: Out Of Character

Another question: the "ordinary supplies" all characters started with, do they contain foodstuffs?

I've marked one of those off from today's march, and am not sure whether I need to mark off a ration as well?
