Re: Prologue: The Road to Hornpipe

Potty has extracted the remains of a cooked mushroom from his pancake and is inspecting it with his eye-glass when suddenly his comrades are overcome with a bout of collective lunacy - shouting about johnnycakes and flipping axes about, talking of adventure and the like. He retreats into the corner...

Potty drifts slowly away from the door and positions himself near the kitchen, hoping to catch a view of the purported mushrooms.

He keeps his distance from the battered 'adventurers'.

Re: Prologue: The Road to Hornpipe

Potty, clearly unhinged by the palpable tension in the air (and inappropriate snoring coming from the kitchen) stands just inside the door, as if ready to leave at any moment. He came here for the promise of pancakes after all, not swords and whispers.

Re: Prologue: The Road to Hornpipe

"Yes yes yes ok ok...ok" says Potty, clearly not ok with it at all, but nonetheless turning himself gingerly to the task (sacks in hand).

Re: Prologue: The Road to Hornpipe

Hearing sounds (specifically, a giant white moose singing) that the great beast has been pacified, Potty clambers out of the undergrowth and returns to his new fellows, holding aloft a large chunk of fungus. " Its for drawing you see. " he says by way of explanation, " Now, onward to ...

Re: Prologue: The Road to Hornpipe

Potty hightails it for the woods. He has had enough of acting as the arbitrator for crazy turnip-loving beasts!

Re: Prologue: The Road to Hornpipe

Pottys fungiphillic eye is drawn to the panicked oxen by Skip's wailings. He chastises himself at his selfishness in leaving the poor creatures to fend for themselves. He ambles back to the beasts - keeping as far as possible from the giant white beast - and coos gently into the ear of the nearest ...
