We have to gage their reaction. If they chased after a noise what kind of response will it provoke for an unknown Hobbit wandering around in plain site. Once it is clear the guards lost interest in the game of hide and seek, Tass would circle back around rejoin the party, so he can tell them what's up ahead.

Tass thinks quickly and moves off away from the direction he came. Having a 40yd head start in a wooded area should be enough to work with, lets see if they can keep up. He uses every possible side trail and dense brush to evade them and keep them from getting a clear shot at him. Haha...Did you gu...

Tass of course can't help himself he sneaks closer wanting to see who is walking around in the keep. He not in a hurry so he moves slowly and carefully picking the line of most cover.

"Perfect I get to lead now!" Tass whistles a little tune and skips ahead of everyone else. By the time is he 20-30ft in front he gets very quiet and keeps to the shadows and the trees......
