Beppo realized how grateful he was for the steady glow of the lantern light, that torchlight would cast spookier shadows in these caves...and now he was about to go off with a smaller section of the party and see by only torchlight...

I think I read that same article, only I remember it saying that spider-goats live alone and spend all their time hoarding gold and magic items.

Beppo hopped down from his high vantage point and looked for any big rocks he could roll over the ledge. Something big enough to crush a goat with.
