The T- junction opens up numerous possibilities - a passage north and south, two doors to the south, and a passage leading east (see map below). Kythaela notices some weird tracks in the dust, as if a 3-legged beast had waled this way

The quick Rhod is first off the mark and he slices off the bird man's head before anybody else can react. Grampus won't have a chance to try out that sword, but when he drew it the blade limned with a faint blue sheen that often denotes an enchantment, not enough to shed light, but enough to be seen...
