Re: (04) The Cathedral

As far as Thanis can tell, the statue looks whole. Nothing looks to be missing or wanting.

Re: (04) The Cathedral

The damage is minor; mostly just concussion marks, small dings and chips. Nothing that really threatens the whole statue.

Whatever the statue is made of... it has resisted whatever its attackers were able to throw at it. Perhaps that's why they covered it?

Re: (04) The Cathedral

Goldwen cautiously tugs at the dust cover, encouraging it to slide free, as Thanis assumes an overwatch position... The dappled linen rustles as it gathers the momentum of its own weight, before hitting the ground with a flap and a great puff of dust. As the dust clears, a majestic, 10ft figure is ...

Re: (04) The Cathedral

The party amble into the shrine hall cautiously after Flin. Goldwen takes a lead, and approaches the far end of the hall, which is occupied by an old, disused looking shrine centered on a 10ft tall statue-figure. The statue is on a solid looking plinth but is draped in a dust cover so that only its...

Re: (04) The Cathedral

Flin pushes forward into the shrine room. He doesn't think overmuch of the stonework. He can tell, just from walking around with his eyes open, that the entire cathedral structure is stressed, and slightly off-kilter. Likely, the foundations have slipped over time. Shoddy. That would never happen i...

Re: (04) The Cathedral

So, Garamon and Stern take the lead positions... presumably we're ready to push on?

Re: (04) The Cathedral

The party is currently in a fairly narrow passageway, prolly not quite wide enough for two across (except maybe Flin and Tass). However, when everyone moves into the shrine hall there will be enough room for a two wide column to march right up to the statue/shrine.

Re: (04) The Cathedral

Everybody waits patiently as Tass returns from the stair and passes across the hallway (brining the sordid odour of his prior gutter crawl, combined now with the rancid pong of the meat locker with him) to check the old stonework of the archway and floor beneath it. Both are show the wear of centur...

Re: (04) The Cathedral

As Tass eeks out a careful return route, the others look into the archway opposite the charnel room. Beyond it a wide, daylit hall leads all the way to the very back of the cathedral. At the far end is an old, disused looking shrine centered about a 10ft tall statue-figure, which is oddly draped in...
