Re: (084) The Churchcroft Cellar

I just transposed "broad" and "deep". Obviously an Australian English to U.S. English translation error... :D

Going forward, can I assume that "broad" is the left-right measure and "deep" is the up-down measure?

Re: (084) The Churchcroft Cellar

Chiron tries the door which proved to be stuck fast. Maybe it's less stuck now? Maybe all the adrenaline flowing through the mage's veins will prove to be advantageous? Maybe a strap drop of acid burned away the part holding the door in place? Only the Gods know for sure.

Re: (084) The Churchcroft Cellar

I don't care if you're only giving approximate measures because we're not taking the time to exactly pace out distances. But there are times where you say a room is 20x30 and I don't know if it's 20 wide and 30 deep or vice versa. A little more precision there would be useful. For example, I see in...

Re: (084) The Churchcroft Cellar

Chiron listens at the "north" door, the one which leads to the dragons' lair. If he hears nothing, he closes it as quietly as possible. The mage takes a moment to confirm the dimensions of the boat room and the locations of the doors. Then Chiron attempts to open the door to the "eas...

Re: (084) The Churchcroft Cellar

Chiron creeps over to the door and listens for any signs of either his companions or the dragon.
Can I just tell you that Chiron wants to go back to the door where the party encountered the neanderthals or do I need to give you directions?

Re: (084) The Churchcroft Cellar

Brother Walfried waves to the departing scouting party. He then busies himself. He places an unlit torch over the threshold of the opened door beyond the longship, and pulls the door to, till it's only just held open by the width of the torch. There he stations himself, listening for noise from bey...

Re: (084) The Churchcroft Cellar

Note that Chiron currently has a torch, so it shouldn't be semi-dark for him, right?

Alas, since he smashed his lantern against the dragon, he has but the one torch remaining.

Re: (084) The Churchcroft Cellar

Chiron the Mage Perhaps somewhat belatedly realizing that no one else from his party is coming behind him, the reality of Chiron's solitary situation begins to sink in. He abandons the dragon corpse and seeks out the corpses of his fallen companions. He searches their effects for a torch or oil, or...

Re: Out Of Character

I am fine with A. I would love to get more time with Dorgan and some higher level adventures but I appreciate everyone's time is limited.

I am interested in DM'ing a game but I won't have any free time to do so in the next couple of months. Maybe down the line I'll revisit it.
