Re: Out Of Character

Sorry flightcommander, I didn't see that you were specifically speaking about a marching order for the wilderness.

Dopey would like to occupy a position when he may toss stones should a combat occur.

Re: Out Of Character

Only two men to a rank?

Lets see how wide tunnels are before we confirm marching order.

3 men or 4 hobbits to a 10' may be allowed if they are carrying just light arms.

It is practically impossible to find unless you have someone with you who already knows where it is?

Re: (076) Off the Beaten Track

"I'm afraid that I'm not much of a night watchman,"says Dopey."I would likely fall asleep on my shift."

I suggest that the night watch should watch in pairs, so that if one is surprised or falls asleep, we may avoid disaster.

Re: (075) A War Footing!

"By goodness! Me, a wizard?" says Dopey in bewilderment  . "I should think not! The only thing I can make disappear is a large breakfast."

Re: (075) A War Footing!

Dopey was astonished by the dwarf's bad manners. "Is this what all dwarfs are like?" he wondered. "Me, I jest whomp on things for a living. Stone, Metal, Orcs and Gobo's heads."[/d] Gunt grins again and gives Dopey a wink. "You sound like handy person to have around" Do...

Re: (075) A War Footing!

"I've pinch of ol' westbridge leaf for you," Dopey offered. The hobbet sat under a rowan tree, puffing his pipe. "Pipeweed's the one thing I didn't forget to pack when I set out from home."

Re: Dopey the Hobbet

The Road to Ket For [a fortnight??] Dopey plodded down the road to Ket. At first he strolled easily, passing through the bucolic acreage skirting Wichtboden as if on one of his afternoon strolls. Soon, however, the verdant woodland became unfamilliar and the hobbet took to sleeping under the expose...

Re: Dopey the Hobbet

An Unexpected Journey In a house on a hill there lived a hobbet. One morning, as he sat eating toast and watching the sunrise paint the sky variegated hues of Dahalaia, Marmalade, and Beryl, Dopey the Hobbet was abruptly disturbed by a visitor. "Why, if it isn't Phandaalf the Great !" exc...
