Re: The Eighth Adventure

Okay, so the First Rule of Douglas and Fiona club is, don't be impulsive murder hobos. Kiplyn shows them where to hide the body among the puffballs. Anyone have anything else to add, to the Douglas/Fiona NPC interaction? Dame Simonetta determines the coast is clear, but she is on high alert for a nu...

Re: The Eighth Adventure

Douglas gets a little defensive. "That's not what Frederick said. He said the first Rule of Adventure Club is kill all the monsters, and the second Rule is take their stuff. I was just trying to help. But you're the boss. If you say so, Fiona and I won't attack first, unless you tell us to. Rig...

Re: Delve the Thirteenth

OOC: We could go with Wiglaff's plan B? Make noise to lure the lizard out, then pelt it with missiles?

Re: The Eighth Adventure

OOC: Just a quick recap of how Douglas and Fiona fit into the story. They've danced in and out of a couple different plotlines in 4 years of non-linear storytelling, that's a little hard to follow. Let me set the story straight: The first PC to meet Douglas and Fiona was Robur . They were all part o...

Re: The Eighth Adventure

Dame Simonetta, Willie, Dougal, Kiplyn, and Wilbur experience a very odd sensation: they feel ever so slightly more experienced , like Douglas' violent act has rubbed off on them and indirectly made them better adventurers. Furthermore they feel their experience award is disproportionate to the dan...

Re: The Eighth Adventure

NPC Douglas is new to this Fellowship and eager to prove himself (especially having failed so spectacularly on his own First Adventure, a near-TPK). He scoffs at the party's mysterious lack of go-gettem. "There's one of it and like, twenty of us, ya wusses!" The creature's big blue head i...

Re: Delve the Thirteenth

Franklin briefly flirts with the idea of heroically slaying the lizard in single combat. Better sense prevails, and he sneaks back to inform his friends of the monster. If I understand correctly, the lizard is only 20-30' into the room? We should hit it in its sleep, from a distance.

Re: The Eighth Adventure

I'll wait for a few more players before moving forward, but I wanted to answer @Bastet1002's question, in case it influences anyone's action: Robur eventually sees the scene after the other - a diminutive (even shorter than a Hobbit) impish blue man! Robur uses his late arrival to try and hide in da...

Re: Delve the Thirteenth

Franklin will do it! Halfling in natural foliage, wearing a cloak of elvenkind, should be pretty stealthy. He'd keep the wall at his left hand and move clockwise around the edge of the room. If he comes to a door or intersection, he will stop to listen.
