Franklin shudders at the thought of facing a balrog. He is only a little hobbet after all. Still, the plan is crazy enough, it might work.

Balbo and Drogo target the birdmen with their slings. Franklin draws his sword and shield. If any of the birdmen survive the missile volley and close to melee distance, he will step forward to meet their charge (protecting his friends).
