Re: Delve the Sixteenth

Franklin says goodbye to Sconces (perhaps leaving him in Rhod's capable hands) and then bravely leads the way down the elevator!

His intention (unless interrupted by wandering monsters) is to pick up where the party left off, past the Ogre room.

Re: Delve the Fifteenth

Sconces was primarily a role-playing aid, to establish that Franklin is kind and loves animals. Thank you for letting him survive for as long as he did. Just putting it out into the universe: One of the few items left on Franklin's bucket list is somehow acquiring an intelligent sword . If he finds ...

Re: Delve the Fifteenth

Franklin already has a magic shield, so he doesn't call "dibs" on this one. He gives his ring of invisibility to Maloof . He doesn't have much need for the 240gp so he spends it to help Balbo and Drogo feel appreciated. He upgrades them to the best possible equipment (plate + shield, if t...

Re: Delve the Fifteenth

The hobbets are ready; they still have their slings in hand from the ogre encounter. If they can get a clean shot, then pew! pew! pew!

Re: Delve the Fifteenth

From Franklin's perspective, he would rather be friends with an invisible thief :D than be an invisible fighter himself.

Re: Delve the Fifteenth

kipper I have been thinking: With Rhod's retirement it makes sense for Franklin to lean into his niche as the party's front-line fighter. I think the ring of invisibility should go to Maloof . From a meta-game perspective, invisible thief makes more sense than invisible fighter, and from Franklin's...

Re: Delve the Fifteenth

If that's enough xp to level-up Nailus, then Franklin enthusiastically votes yes! Franklin himself doesn't care so much about experience points these days. He has achieved all of his goals: maximum level, faithful dog, magic sword, precious ring, two loyal hobbets and a small army of friends to fig...

Re: Delve the Fifteenth

I'm also thinking with @coffee retiring from the game, maybe there is an argument to return Rhod safely to the surface?

Re: Delve the Fifteenth

Franklin laments, "They had all this gold and yet they died hungry."

How much gold are we talking? Enough to put in our pockets and continue the adventure? Or a huge amount, that we should think about returning to the surface world?

Re: Delve the Fifteenth

Franklin sighs philosophically as he wipes the ogre blood from his sword. "It's a shame those ogres had to be so chaotic and untrustworthy. I genuinely would have enjoyed teaming up with them to hunt an owlbear or something." Franklin joins Naillus hunting for treasure, poking around with ...
