Maloof dons his ring of invisibility and creeps west down the passage and peers northward at the turn. He then retreats slightly and listens at the door in the north wall.
Maloof heads over and peers down the western passage, hopefully no more beasties coming. Someone else should check the coins on the ledge, they're too high for Maloof without climbing up!
Gargoyles have hands, so I don't think a quick retreat and shutting the door will work this time! And gargoyles are notoriously attack-first-and-think-later types. There are a couple of doors and a hallway in there as well which could lead to somewhere interesting. We can always come back later if we want to though!
Assuming we can close the door quickly enough, let's head south down the main corridor and turn right (west).
Let's quickly retreat back out the doorway (if we're not already all outside the door). That way they either have to come at us one at a time, or alternatively we can close the door to trap them on the inside. But what does everyone think though? Fight, or close the door?
