Naillus does have a wand of fire, which I think is the best way to fight it. He could alternate the fire and cold wands thinking it would do more damage. Question is, does he have enough time before it gets to him.

Should we just retreat and run for it?

Well, that is awfully nice of you. Sure, let's say Detect Magic, Magic Missile, and Knock (iirc I have 2 lvl 1 and 1 lvl 2)

OOC: I cannot find my list of spells that Naillus knows. Does he know Detect Magic? I am sure he does not have it memorized at the moment, but he could switch it out if we think it is worth it to cast on the silver pieces to find any buried treasure, so to speak.

All, I am Origins convention this weekend running over 30 hour of Pendragon and Age of Vikings. I return on Monday, but then flying out on Tuesday to be with wife for the summer. I will be on, but more limited.

Naillus will not research this time, but will try to buy a "stone to flesh" scroll/potion with his new found wealth.
Opting for the MU track this delve.
Buy a week's worth of food, holy water, silver tipped arrows and a bow.
