If there is room, Naillus will attack physically one of the Gargoyles. He won't use his wands as they will hit the party as well.

If the gargoyles are attacking others, Naillus will magic missle one. If one is attacking him, he will meet it with Battle Axe and shield.

Naillus will advance as well since there are two gargoyles, ready with spell or axe/shield.

Naillus will turn away from the wizard, rolling his eyes. Motioning with his fingers to his comrades, suggests we move on?

Naillus continues, "And what prevents the Balrog from attacking them? If it just happy to be where it is? Is it guarding something even more dangerous or valuable?"

Naillus will ask the wizard, "What can you tell us of these warriors? Are they allied with the Balrog? Are they keeping it locked up? Do you have a contingency plan in case your charm does not work?"

Naillus has used his Detect Magic, so would need to sleep/rest enough to recover it. The gold would be useful in XP and or actual money to buy things, but agree that it could turn a useful neutral to an enemy. Would rather keep him as neutral to friendly, so is willing to bypass on the gold.

Naillus will keep an eye out on the wizard while moving around the room looking for secret doors.
