Beppo had been facing the tunnel again and thinking. "If we pushed the chest in front of us, we could use it as a weapon against the next monsters we meet..."

Then he turned around again and saw everything had already been solved. "Oh! Well done."

"Whoa!" Beppo exclaimed. He had been watching the entrance, but looked back in time to see the green mist spurt out of the chest.

"We should avoid that!"

Beppo looked around, as if a cloud had lifted from his mind and he was seeing again for the first time in months.

It looked like he was in the dungeon once more, with his companions. They were heading somewhere. He followed!

Good suggestion! I'm uncomfortable with giving stat bonuses to humans, but I like the idea of giving humans more flexibility in how they use their stats. A couple of possible ideas: 1. Beppo walked with a bit of a limp and a sore rump all the next day. He berated himself for not accounting for how slick the snow-covered roof would be.

Two pints of beer later, he wasn't feeling so hard on himself anymore. One more pint, and he was feeling brave enough to go fight monsters!
