Maloof is well-stocked with holy water as well. So let's head to room 9.

Franklin chirps, "If you have extra holy water for Balbo and Drogo, they have excellent throwing arms. I will be on the front line with Rhod, waving my magic sword around."

OOC: Franklin is planning to protect the party by drawing the wraith's attention to himself. Level drain is not so scary, when you're max level! Worst case, if Franklin loses a level, it will give him a reason to keep adventuring! The amount of xp Franklin would need to get back to 4th level is less than the amount Aldbane and Rhod need to reach 6th level, so really it would be barely an inconvenience.

(edit) Also I just remembered, our friendly DM allows a save vs. level drain, and Franklin has already had one success in this department. He is feeling confident; let's do this!

You can change your house rules! It's been almost 6 years since you made that ruling. If you want to make this encounter a little more challenging, that's fine with me. :)

Aldbane will attempt to turn first, then step aside for those more dexterous to throw holy water. He'll hand out any of his four vials to whoever needs them.

OOC: All good! I just don't want to be an annoying 'rules lawyer'! :geek:

You head to the large room where you killed some lizards, and approach the secret door, which still looks like a plain wall. The wraith does not emerge - did you want to inspect how you could open the door?

Aldbane will approach the wall, running his hands over it and looking for anything unusual.
