I AM A STATUE OF KRONDOR DWARF GOD OF KNOWLEDGE. THE BUILDERS OF THIS ROOM WERE EVIL DWARVES. THE ALTAR IN THE SOUTH WAS FOR SACRIFICING MAIDENS. THE ALTAR IN THE WEST WAS FOR SACRIFICING ELVES. THE ALTAR IN THE EAST WAS FOR SACRIFICING WIZARDS. THIS WAS THEIR FEAST HALL. THEY DIED MANY GENERATIONS AGO, KILLED BY ADVENTURERS LIEK YOURSELF.

Grampus turns to the group and asks if they want to ask some thing as well. He notes that the statue may need an additional drink to reloosen his tongue and may react in an unexpected way. For example, perhaps evil dwarf statues can invoke some power to reanimate their dead.

Grampus agrees, wholeheartedly.

Vesh puts his wine flask back into his backpack, hoists it back on and joins his comrades as we continue to explore.

Door to the south is good! We watch the corridor walls/floors for any more of the weird writing we saw before.

Sconces starts barking in a friendly tone, and then Catweazle walks into the room "Forsooth" he says, "Twas a tricky proposition to traverse your tracks, but nay, I have done so".
