I usually update regularly, but took a bit of time off. Let me give you some advice, after running online games for 13 years. Check every two days, every day if there is a combat going on - DO NOT RELY ON NOTIFICATIONS!!!! I have a player on another forum who relies on notifications, they don't work, and he has been complaining for 3 years. Spend 60 seconds and click on your saved link and see if a post was made

I've had some trouble with phpbb notifications in the past (it may have more to do with email delivery than settings), so I do something different (apologies if you already know this trick):

I go to the unread posts link, and see what exactly I've missed since the last time I was logged in:

Clicking on the post title should bring you to the latest unread post.

Oh, I just noticed it's not the post title you click on, there's a little icon just to the left of the post title, which is "View First Unread Post". Click on the post title seems to take you to the beginning of the thread.

Franklin is taking a little break from the forums, but has asked me to keep Franklin and Sconces in the party, and I think that is a great idea, so acodispo and I will sort of handle Franklin

In the current encounter, Maloof thinks 500gp is a good price and is willing to give up the location of Groth A. Of course, he can be over-ruled if the others disagree, in that case he will explain to Groth B that due to the maze-like nature of the dungeon that he is a bit unclear as the exact location, we will scout it out to be sure and then return with specific information. Of course, in this case Maloof will generously insist on deferring payment until we return. No, he will not even ask for a deposit or show of good faith! He is such an honest fellow that he could not in good conscience do such a thing, even it would be considered proper and correct! Well, if you insist, it would be abominably rude of me to refuse...

I will be away from my computer from Fri Aug 12 through Mon Apr 15, so I will not be updating the game over that time period
