Desmond moves cautiously along the left wall of the parlour, carrying the torch, his eyes skimming over the paraphenalia left on the table tops in a quick search for easy coin -- but alas, there is no such luck. Only cards and dice and empty glasses. It does appear as though these tables were left in a hurry though...
Koch follows Desmond at a respectable distance, and searches behind the frist two wall hangings which he encounters as he moves along. He is not much of an art collector himself, but these seem gaudy pieces. The frames themselves are a foot wide, brazenly carved and gilded in what might be gold leaf. The first painting is four foot tall and three wide. The second half that size. But the wall is good and solid behind each... there might be seven or eight more of these spaced out along the wall, he estimates.
Meanwhile Olaf treads into the room so that his bright sceptre lights the way for everyone else. He casts his keen gaze about the room as he goes, wary of anything (1d6)...
From this new vantage Desmond sees that there is a servery of some kind just ahead along the left-hand wall, while across the room there is a modestly impressive bar where drinks could no doubt be served. Beyond this he sees three new doors -- two of these accessed from behind the bar.
Gustave steps into the room and can only lament the timing of his arrival (though in truth the place looks crass and unclean -- even by Gustave's own somewhat dubious standards), while -- from the doorway -- Wibert stands watch with an arrow ready on his bow, and suggests that those in the room search the stage. But nobody has made it so far into the room yet...
...Andaros, the long haired southerner, also arrives.
