Neither Koch nor the killer are surprised (rather fortunately for Koch). The killer is only 5 paces away... what will you do?

Olaf sees the change in Koch's stance and sensing combat, shouts loudly, "Dieter! Mads! Ulric! Come here!"

The tall, thin, warrior moves into the doorway, sword up and ready to parry and thrust, and looks to see who Koch's attacker is. It *could* be one of his friends, but it also could be one of the brigands!

OOC: I'm hoping the bright light will dazzle him, maybe even blind him temporarily. I don't know if the scepter's light is hot, but if it is, maybe there will be burning damage, too! Olaf feels almost undressed without his shield, in hand, but he'll do the best he can to hold the man here until help arrives.
