If I read the rules correctly, the STR adjustments are the same whether your STR is 7 or 14. However, I now see your point as I'd be taking a serious XP penalty with a 7 STR fighter.waysoftheearth wrote:7 strength could work for a Hobbet fighter; not sure it's immediately equal to a 14 though?
The third set is less interesting, for sure, but does have high strength and no major weaknesses... overall some good options for you to consider.
Thanks! Here is what I am thinking:waysoftheearth wrote:Merias, your rolls are:

15 14 16 5 8 8 9

Have a read of the character generation 2017 guidelines, and post any questions or thoughts here. I'm sure there will be a few old hands in your timezone who will be happy to assist or, failing that, I'm here to help (albeit from the other side of the planet).

We'll need a name and alignment for your dwarf... meanwhile, I'll get you set up with a goldenrod character sheet.
You can shop for starting equipment; there's a nice equipment list in the back of DD5 booklet one (p45) which might be useful :)
