He needs to hit 1500 to advance

SERECH xp = previous (554) + 930 (this delve) + 47 (5% bonus) = 1531
He needed to hit 1500 to advance

If you were to delay one day before heading down into the dungeon, natural healing plus Serech's spell-casting could heal everybody to full hit points

Could we delay more than a day, as in a week? Catweazle would like to begin building up a store of scrolls. Also, any suggestions as to which scroll spells might be most useful would be appreciated. Once we're ready to delve again, he would like to hire another retainer.

Alternatively, I could take another character on the next delve.

Golguldir congratulates his Men and pays them their promised bonuses for survival.

To the players he recommends a week's rest (so that he can construct at least one spell scroll!). He also desires to purchase a number of additional spell scrolls from the Wizard Gorthaur, if such goods can be had.

If the company are willing to contribute to the costs, scrolls of fireball and the like might potentially be had. A clerical hold person spell would immobilise 1-4 persons too...

Rhod is all for a week's rest. Also, he'll look into upgrading his equipment.

And he might be amenable to investing in spell scrolls. Also healing potions, if there are any to be had.

The wizard will sell spell scrolls, but there are no protection or clerical scrolls available. His costs are higher than if you make them yourself

1st level spell scroll: 200 gold (90% chance of having that particular spell already on a scroll)
2nd level spell scroll: 400 gold (70% chance of having that particular spell already on a scroll)
3rd level spell scroll: 800 gold (50% chance of having that particular spell already on a scroll)
4th level spell scroll: 1600 gold (30% chance of having that particular spell already on a scroll)
5th level spell scroll: 3200 gold (10% chance of having that particular spell already on a scroll)

The wizard generally does not invest in potions. There is a 5% chance he has a potion you are interested in, and its cost is usually about 500 gold. These would be potions he has dabbled in creating himself
