Meanwhile Sili passes his beer flask around to boost the morale of the wounded and shell-shocked. He is no doctor, but offers a slap on the back and a "buck up!" to those who need encouragement.

"Soval is right; back to camp," concurrs Lmluin, "and as swiftly as we may. We can attend the wounded far more effectively there."

He sniffs the air, a concerned look on his face as he attempts to identify the strange scent; "We should not linger here. Make haste!"

He cleans his blade and sheathes it, setting arrow to bowstring once more. He also nods to Largo; "Well fought, Master Harfoot," he says, a new respect in his voice.

Eremin Sulk quickly cleans and sheathes his blade, then gets right down to the task of inspecting the orcs for valuables. He doesn't mind their gruesome condition; no, indeed, it serves them right.

He'll quickly but efficiently strip off anything worth keeping and/or selling.

A weary look lays upon Largo's face, as he cleans his dagger on the sleeve of a dead Orc and sheathes it.

"A terrible business, it was. I am happy just to be... oh, my word! Mister Banks!"

The weariness is replaced by deep concern as Largo's head spins around, looking for his fellow Hobbit. His view settles upon the entrance to the Troll cave and Largo creeps slowly inward, loading another stone into his sling.

"Mister Banks, are you there?"

Eremin will carry the lanthorn. (Much rather that than carry the dead!)

Norin, Sili, Nat, Eremin and Arbenbard search over the Orc corpses; fourteen of them all told.

The Dwarves and Eremin search for valuables, but come up with a poor tally of dirty purses and pouches containing finger joints, mouse heads, teeth, ears, toes, frogs, snails and a jumble of copper and brass coins which appear mostly of recent Hollander make. Only a few of the coins are immediately identifiable as being of an older, Dwarf cast.

Arbenbard, meanwhile, searches the Orcs for information. After some grisly work he concludes that there is little intelligence to be had here, though he does note that several of the Orcs bear a repeated glyph upon knife sheath, dark tattoo, or embossed upon a battered helm; a black flame. What meaning the mark has is not yet clear.
