Good People, welcome to 2012 !

I have updated the Fallen Heroes thread, and opened up the Return to Edhil thread where you can discuss goods and hirelings you wish to secure before attempting the mines again.

Coffee; Eremin has perished but you are welcome to either take over Dernfara the ranger or else roll up a new PC ;D

As I mentioned previously, I'll be putting the game into "slow mode" while I'm working on the Delving Deeper edit, so there's no huge hurry.

I'll check up on your progress now and then as I'm able

Hooray! Any xp or treasure for the game thus far? Heaven forbid I spend my own money on new equipment.

I do believe that a heavy, dwarfish goblet was recovered from the Troll den.

XP is exploration based, as explained http://odd74.proboards.com/index.cgi?ac ... ge=1#70583here. I will figure out the total earned shortly.

Nothing of interest on the Orcs? (Not that there has to be just making sure since I got my hands dirty on their corpses )

I also notice, with the eyes of a greedy hobbit accountant, that Eremin was pretty loaded.

Wealth
764 silver pennies
12 copper pennies

For the good of the groups this should be dealt with also.

Too true!

Those masters of FAIR alignment whose hirelings have fallen will certainly want their goods and pay to be returned to their families, along with an explanation of their loved-ones demise.

Those master of SELFISH alignment whose hirelings have fallen will feel no such compunction.

That aside, it is entirely up to the fellowship what is done with the goodies of the fallen, including Eremin's gear, which (according to my records) comprised:

Backpack (1), Bedroll (1), Purse {100gp 164sp}, Waterskin {1 quart} (1), Trail rations {1 day}, Hollander short sword (1), Hollander dagger, Hollander dagger, Leather armour (2), Grappling hook (1), 60ft silk rope (1), Hooded lantern (1), Locksmith's tools, Hand mirror, Belt pouch, Oil {2 flasks} (2), Sack, Tinderbox, Wineskin {2 quarts} (1).

Yeah, I was pretty frickin' loaded.

Back, y'know, when I was alive.

Not gonna bother me much if a hobbit should 'happen upon' that kind of cash. (Elves and dwarves, now...that's another story!)

Well then it would do your spirit good to see the hobbit pour your cash on the ground and roll around in it while singing "the clouds are raining silver, hooray!" (It's one of his favorite bed time tunes)

Soval will certainly do everything he can to return his hirelings' gear to their families, writing letters and so forth if he can, seeing to their burial expenses within his means, etc.
