"Will it spoiler things if I ask whether or not there is plant life down below? And how much for two sacks?" Noh asks after thinking a moment.

Dougal shrugs, "Dunno. Practically nothing, though, like a couple of coppers. Which is why we should all have them. I think I have 5."

He thinks for a minute and then replies,"There were mushrooms. LOTS of mushrooms in some rooms. But I can't recall any plants aside from that."

OOC: Major update coming this weekend. Just wanted to mention for Noh's benefit that fungi count as "plants" in our house rules, for purposes of druid magic.

As long as Noh is still a fun-guy, wokka wokka...

Okay, I'll be quiet now.

Poor Noh has been waiting so patiently to join the Adventure!

I put a call out to the original players, and maybe a couple new players joining in too. :)

Potty the Mycologist approaches Noh and studies his raven Carc with professional curiosity. "That is a fine-looking animal companion," he remarks.
@Tonneau has given me permission to treat Potty as an NPC for the time being. He will stay on the surface and support the party by crafting potions.

OOC: Might as well start planning the Second Adventure. On the map below, I've crudely indicated in red the unexplored areas. Any thoughts where you might want to go next? A reminder that if you travel off the map to the south that counts as dungeon level 2, and to the west is dungeon level 3.

Returning players, your responsibility is to "tour guide" the new players and prevent them from making stupid rookie mistakes, while at the same time preserving a sense of wonder and surprise.

Oh yeah, and there are secret doors on the thin walls between areas 2, 4, 5, and 6. I forgot to draw the 'S' symbols, but I'll fix it on the next pass.

Tet, Potty, Noh, Dougal, and Willie feel exhausted. It's time to have a drink by the fire, maybe sing a song or tell a ghost story, and rest and recuperate for the next Adventure. Who knows what tomorrow will bring. Fresh faces, perhaps?
This is a good time for the returning players to chit-chat a bit, while the new players are finalizing their character sheets.
