Welcome to the game, rredmond!
Just a few quick notes about Post buttons...
C, D, L, M, and N are all dialog tags; Chaotic, Normal, Lawful, Magical, and Neutral respectively.
Unlike USS, the OC tag forms a column on the right of the post while IC forms a column on the left side of the post, like so...

Okay not meaning to meta game here, but I'm going to ask for some help.
What other equipment should I get? Remember, definitely a nature hobbet not a city one, but I do have gold left over.

If we are being meta-gamey, it's worth mentioning, there is depot inside dungeon level 1, that sells equipment at the standard prices. So one option is to wait until you get down there, and then see what you need.
