Shouldn't Ulric's spell have put four of the attackers to sleep? 2d6 + caster level?

The Baleful Somnolence of Morpheus : 2d6 + caster level HD worth of creatures fall into a magical slumber. Mindless monsters, those with more HD than the caster has levels, and undead are not affected.

Well, I said I would if the party agreed, maybe the party shouldn't agree so fast.

Olaf is smart, but not wise, so he'll have lots of ideas, lots of them will be good ideas, but some will be not so good. He's probably not the best one to decide which is which, though, as he'll probably think his bad ideas are just as good as his bad ones.

It might be best if Olaf suggests, but someone with higher wisdom is the one who officially implements those suggestions.

Heck, even a player with a high wisdom can roll poorly. Let's just roleplay and let the dice fall where they may.

One of them must have resisted your baleful overture.

Anybody taking odds on how many of us will be rolling new characters before the weekend is out?

Hmm... a very near thing indeed.

If Ulric is going to "negotiate" like that in future, he should roll higher

Who me?

I'm not sure I've ever rolled that low for a sleep spell. Ulric needs to study more.

The weekend isn't over yet. First level PC's are very fragile at all times and several of us are teetering on the edge of breaking already.

As should Olaf when it comes to hitting his opponent.
