Hmmm, Verhaden, Mads isn't called "the Fair" for nothing.

Why have Victor do the negotiating when Mads is simply oozing charisma?

Anwyn's charisma isn't half bad either (except she is still incognito for now).

I still haven't decided whether "Fair" is an honest title or a pejorative. Maybe he's "the Fair" because he makes such lopsided, advantageous dealings for himself. Or charges "Fare" for favors--a mercenary after Angel Eyes' own heart.

Mads also has descent int--he'd rather not be at the forefront of something that could be... risky. Especially in a tavern with so many unknowns.

So...as the deal was done, did Anwyn notice the big, burly security guards reacting? Or are those the men who leave with him? Do they ALL leave?

What does Lumbard do once he leaves the booth? Does he leave the Jolly Noose? Go to a room upstairs? Go to another table?

Did she see anyone else watching?

Since Ulric did the negotiating, and most of the party are near-broke (except perhaps Victor and Eris), I will assume (for now) that Ulric has purchased the map from his own purse. This leaves him with 5 silver and 12 copper.

If others are willing to contribute they should repay Ulric. Otherwise, Ulric could reasonably expect first pick of any loot won...

Erm . . . I think you subtracted the map price from Ulric's starting money, not his current money (shown in the "Cast" thread). Victor suggests that he go in for 25 sp and Ulric go in for 20 sp, and they can even up later if for some reason they don't find a horde of treasure that makes 5 sp seem too petty to worry about. The rest of the group has spent equivalent sums on useful crap like torches and crowbars and shovels, so that can be their contribution.
