Thought I had made that clear in an earlier post.

In the morning the heroic types set out just after dawn; marching back toward the ogre lair. The weather is fine, and it's only a short hike, so Dorgan hardly notices the extra load of his shovels and picks.
Any specific marching orders or plan for the approach?

Meanwhile, the ref uses the Arneson method to determine how many ogres etc. may be wandering about versus inside the lair...

Dorgan is leading the trio, as far as marching orders go.

They will march to a point about 1/4 mile away from the entrance and stop there to observe and develop a plan for what to do if the ogres emerge while Dorgan is digging.

Wen flits along in the trail of Dorgan's steady march. Every so often detour off into the trees and singing to those he finds there. When Dorgan finally stops he looks around at the terrain. "We''ll I need a tall tree to set watch in, and if they detect you run towards me I've got Bow, Spell and Wand ready to teach the Ogres a lesson or three."

Highbough bounds in 30' arcs, taking advantage of the red planet's weakened gravitational force to attain mighty leaps. He plucks fruit from the highest treetops, gathers arboreal fungi, and swipes bird eggs from the nest without waking the mother. The wizened Elf constantly scans the terrain for optimum ambush and sniper positions from which to obliterate the ogres.

From time to time, the delusional Elf impatiently hisses over his shoulder, "Catch up, children, I'm not getting any younger! You can't see me of course, I'm invisible, but follow the sound of my voice... voice... voice..."

Indeed... the blue sky and green grass here seems to have escaped his notice, and nor do the sharp jolts to his old knees following each fantastically over dramatized hop shake his revere...

Dorgan waits patiently for Wen to find his tree blind and give the dwarf the thumbs up, and then sets out, as quietly as he is able, for the barricade.

We need an exalt button because Highbough needs exalting.

Highbough joins Wen up the tree. He silences his senile babbling and slips into an alert state of hunter-mind.
Thanks, guys! :)
