In any event, it won't matter since we won't be going down there to fight them. We'll use the Ward against Undead scroll to push them aside while we collect the loot and then leave.

At some later point, it would be worthwhile to go down there in force and destroy the rest of them but perhaps now is not the time.

I took the possibility of "An Adventure" result on the dice roll to mean fighting them might be necessary. Always plan for the worst.

In any case, Desmond will go down. He's wanted to see it in a better light ever since he fell down the trapped stairs.

"It's not safe to split up, I recommend if we must there should be only two groups: one stays guard to look after the manage the pilgrims, and the other with Desmond and Dorgan to go down to the pit to get the loot there. I will stay with the pilgrims here, then once the others get back we can send a group to go to the Ogre cave and haul back the remaining loot", says Ashtad.

Okay people, let's get it happening.

The way I see it, everyone beds down for the night. Dhren and Dorgan and Ulric will take the first, second, and third watches respectively.

The next day:
Josiane will take care of morning prayers, motivating the pilgrims, and organising the next meals. Ulric will loiter in the refectory studying his books.

Desmond/Mondes, Dorgan, Helmut, Dhren, and Ashtad will visit the Shadow lair--bringing with them the Ward Against Undead. Helmut being a Man of Thuul will be asked invoke the Ward, and with the Shadows held helplessly at bay, the lair will be thoroughly looted.

Meanwhile Armando, Valorn, and Beringar will return to the Ogre lair to haul back the remaining coin. (Someone will ideally bar the door behind them, and let them in again upon their return).

By the time everyone returns to the refectory there should be a rather more serious pile of loot to look at.

Yes?

| I approve of Dhren's placement/activity in WOTE's above breakdown. |

OOC :: Armando would like the Pit Crew to retrieve his lantern, if possible. He's otherwise game to accompany the others to retrieve any remaining ogre coin. ::

Josiane (particularly 5th Level Josiane :o ) wonders if the team going into the pit might not benefit from her presence? Although she will certainly not want to leave the pilgrims undefended.

She is also rather concerned about their colleagues, who appear to have vanished into thin air! :?:

She'd like to have an idea of what's become of them if possible. :)

But not if it's going to hold you up, ways. If you want to move things along I'm happy to go with your suggested course of action. :)

Maybe swap Josiane with Helmut, who is a Man of Thuul and can serve to motivate the pilgrims a bit himself? If the doppel shows up, he at least has Ulric to call upon.
