Good luck! I hope he can leap far enough and fast enough so that big guy can't swat him out of the air as he goes past him. Uh, and I also hope Dieter makes it *across* the chasm in one leap, because it's a long way down to the bottom...cue the image of EK *not* making it across the Snake River (it was the Snake River wasn't it, or was it the Colorado River?). The damp but decrepit timbers of the scaffold bridge at first only steam and crackle definitely, but Ulric raises his voice to a commanding tone and thrusts his arm forth and makes it so. The bridge cannot hold out, and suddenly the whole of it ignites in a violent swirl of green flame!

...rushes impossibly into the air like a grasshopper. The Giant is caught unawares and the mighty club blow dashes the ground beneath Dieter's feet from whence he is already gone!

Ulric is firing the bridge as Dieter looks down with a clear overview from the clean air above. He sees the hobgoblins swarming over the wall only to be frustrated by the burning bridge. As his allies seemingly rush toward him Dieter sees the Giant ripping a horse sized boulder from the broken walls...

And then he lands with a solid thump on the opposite side, having clear the 60ft gap in a single heroic bound.
