Maloof is feeling rather jolly and cocky at the moment, he will volunteer to stir around the sand with a staff or spear (if someone will provide him with one).

The sand is even with a normal floor level. The spear but sinks about 1 inch into the sand before hitting paving stone

Wiglaff looks suspiciously into the sand room.

"I say we put this room on the list for future investigations, and leave it be for now.

"Should we head back to Aphrodite's room in the north-east? or explore the great hall to the south some more?"

Grampus says, “ I’m thinking we could invert our shields and pick up sand and shake it out to sift through it in case there is something to find.”

"Go ahead and try one scoop, but it would take forever to sift the whole room!" Maloof says to Grampus.

A random scoop turns up nothing

"I'll stand watch, if you lot want to keep digging," Rhod says. "Otherwise we could move along."

"Let's come back when we are at our leisure; we're still unsure what else is on this level!"

Wiglaff would like to go back to the Aphrodite statue and try the door that the white ape came out of.

"Yes, let's come back here after we explore a bit more," Aldbane says. He is fine with the door the ape came out of.
