Maloof takes out a chunk of smoked meat (which he previously salvaged from the bear-men) and tosses it onto the floor.

The smoked meat falls to the floor without triggering anything

"Hold on to me, and get ready to pull if I scream!" Maloof says to Wiglaff.

Maloof then slowly lowers himself down to the floor.

Wiglaff is ready to pull Maloof as fast as he can back out of the room.

Maloof is lowered to the floor of the room. He feels less capable - he is now level 1

"Help pull me back up!"Maloof says as he scrambles back to the crawlway.

Maloof is pulled back up

"Do NOT go down there!" Maloof cautions. "Let's head back, we can search for hidden doors on the way."

Back to the room with the curtained "windows", and out through the door the goblins came in, picking up the rest of the party on the way. Scouts move ahead to the north-turning corner and peek around.

"Bad break, my friend," says Wiglaff, patting Maloof on the back as they retreat from the level-draining room.

You look north. The left hand wall goes for 40 feet. The right hand wall goes 10' of space, 10' of wall, 10' of space, 10' of wall. The passage ends at the 40' mark. A silver statue of Poseidon resides there, reaching up to the ceiling
