Vesh is wary and will move forward carefully checking the floor and ceiling to see if there are any hidden dangers (pronounced gaps between stones that could be easily missed and wear upon the stonework that might hint of a heavy stone object smashing into the ground from the ceiling).

Wiglaff will accompany Maloof across the room. While the cleric is checking for the content of the tapestry, the elf will check for hidden doors or other openings on the walls of the room.

The writing engraved on the altar is a script with which he is not familiar. The tapestry behind the altar shows dogs with tiger heads at a green table playing cards.

"Aren't we even going to check the altar?" Rhod asks. He gives is a quick once-over, to see if there are any likely places for hidden compartments, or if it might slide or rotate or move in any other way.

Maloof uses his mace to move the tapestry aside and look behind it.

If he finds nothing there, he then investigates the candles: do they have an odd aroma? Is there a pool of wax building up beneath them?
