Despite himself, Rhod smirks at the different reaction the door has to the elf. (But he keeps looking around for any threats while they investigate the door.)

Vesh asks, "Marco, Mona please keep watch as I'd like to know what thins magic door does. Color me intrigued". Vesh then turns and moves closer to wiglaff and the speaking door.

Wiglaff speaks to the door:

"I come seeking spells. It is said that Groth the Invincible may provide them. What are the terms of entry?"

The door swings open into a large room, festooned with all the appurtenances of easy living. Lounging in an easy chair is a rather fat man, in rich robes with rings on his fingers, sipping a glass of port. The room is crowded with book shelves, bubbling potions, and other arcane paraphernalia. In the south of the room is a large statue of a man with an eye-patch and a large spear. In the north is a door. The man struggles to his feet. "A typical adventuring party, I see. My name is Groth the Invincible. I buy and sell spells, potions and the like. How may I help you?"

"Greetings, Groth the Invincible," says the elf to the mage.

"And greetings, Lord Odin," he says to the statue.

Then turning back to the mage: "I am Wiglaff, son of Welthhelm, and these are my friends and comrades. We come to inquire as to the nature of your wares. What are you selling today?"
What are the dimensions of the room? Thanks!

Well, I have some potions ready for the next band of adventurers to come through, and it's been a while let me tell you. Plus, I can sell you spell scrolls. I even invented a new spell that even a beginner can learn, very proud of it. When the user casts it, it is like they are protected by plate armor instead of just robes!
: dimensions . Imagine a 40' N/S by 60' E/W room, with 20' on the north side of the door, and 10' on the south side. Except the last 30' of both north and south walls are recessed another 10 feet. There is the statue of Odin in the south wall, and in the middle of the recessed north wall there is a door

Aldbane's ears perk up at the mention of scrolls. "These scrolls - would any of them be clerical in nature, perchance?" he asks. "No doubt you have come across some in your wide travels, with which to sell to Clerics like myself and Maloof here," he adds, pointing to his clerical companion.

"I don't have many clerical scrolls. These two have Cure Light Wounds on them, and this one has a spell called Speak with Animals. I'll let you have them cheap - 50 apiece for the cures, 250 for the animal one

"Splendid!" Aldbane says. He digs in his pack for the coins and hands them over to the mage. Once he has the scrolls, he turns to Maloof. "In case something happens to one of us, we should split the curative scrolls," he says, handing one scroll of CLW to Maloof, keeping the other two scrolls for himself.
