The missile fire misses again, but Vesh's torch sets the oil ablaze, and the man in the back is lit up like a jack-o-lantern. He starts to roll around on the floor, trying to beat out the flames. Grampus and Aldbane kill their foes, and the last man, seeing he is deeply outnumbered, and unnerved by his burning comrade, drops his weapon and raises his hands. "I surrender" he yells

"I never killed anyone before; my heart is pounding!" exclaims Franklin. He loots the bodies of the two men on the stairs. He especially wishes to recover the agate stones that the party paid in toll.

"Well done, friends!" says the elf-warrior when the battle is done.

Once the fires have burned down, Wiglaff strides up to the lone enemy and fixes him with a steely glare.

"I find it doubtful you would have spared us had our places been reversed, but we'll let you live in exchange for your guidance.

"Are there other members of your band?

"Where do you keep your spoils?"
What is the layout of this room? exits?

Once the flames have died out, Grampus goes over to the burned enemy and checks for valuables. He then asks, “do you think now that he’s cooked would he be tasty?”

Do you let the burning guy burn to death, or help smother the flames?

Vesh chooses to use his travelling cloak to smother the flames even though he started them, unnecessary suffering is still beyond the pale for him. While kneeling beside the warrior; with his right hand on his dagger, Vesh glowers at the once burning warrior his scarred face giving him a baleful visage and tells him,"Just give me cause and I'll slide my dagger into your throat. Don't let my mercy be mistaken as weakness. Do you understand? If not I'll end you now.

Aldbane hangs his hammer from his belt and surveys the scene. Seeing that Rhod is hurt worse than Grampus, he tends to Rhod.

"Rest and let me heal you," he says to Rhod, casting CLW.
