Maloof joins Wiglaff.

If everyone chooses to join Wiglaff so will Vesh as he doesn't want to split the party...he's learned from that mistake before.

The newcomer Franklin is unsure how he fits into this plan. If the party splits, he stays with the larger group. If the party splits into equal-sized groups, then he keeps close to the dwarves.

Wiglaff beckons to the party generally.

"Let's just check this nearby door, then we can proceed to the second level."

He continues on to the door, inspects it, and (if satisfied), opens it.

Vesh turns to join Wiglaff and the rest as they go explore the other room, but tries to keep aware in case of wondering monsters coming up behind the group.

Grampus says, “Time to go a level more. Let’s venture down. My sword is itching for future fun, frivolity & fecundity.”

"Agreed, level two beckons. But I will wait for one more room, if so desired," Aldbane says. He keeps a watch outside the door.

After all normal precautions are taken, the door is opened into an unused room, bare, 30 feet N/S and 20 feet E/W, centered on the door

Wiglaff takes a quick look around, but he too is eager to venture deeper.

"To the second level, friends? And are we going down the stairs, or climbing down that pit trap into the ogre pit? I am content to take either route."

"Is there a way out of the Ogre pit? I'd prefer stairs to ease descent but I am willing to go down via the pit as long as I know we can get out of it", says Vesh.

Vesh readjusts his pack as he waits to move on towards the second level with the others, his henchmen Young Aiden, Mona and Marco are ready to move on as well. They are all conversing quietly and taking sips of water as they wait.
